Alvinston at Glencoe

The Alvinston Indians opened up the St. Thomas and District Major Fastball League in Glencoe last evening with a 8-3 victory over the Glencoe Astros. Kyle Crawford was the pitcher of record for the Indians, with John Ferguson pitching two scoreless innings, Jeff Lyons pitching one scoreless inning, and Brad Young pitching three innings. Joe Triest led off the game for the Indians with a homerun, while Eric Hyatt followed suit in the second inning with a solo homerun. Scoring for the Indians were Chris Drew (2), Joe Triest, Davis Triest, Jamie Shields, Scott Smith, Eric Hyatt, and Jeff Ingram.
