Green Devil’s Defeat SIS/Brady’s!

The Stoke’s Inland Green Devil’s moved one step closer to taking over first place in Bluewater Major Two Pitch league action Wednesday night picking up a pair of victories against SIS/Brady’s Bunch 16 – 14 and 27 – 13.  The Green Devil bats were in full gear with many players having big nights including Mike Dark, nine for nine including three home runs, Rich Verwegen, eight hits including a home run, Jay Armstrong hit an inside the park home run while Mike Barron and Tom Coyle picked up seven hits.  A dusty Carlo Decan and Eric Calhoquon each had eight hits in a losing cause for SIS.

Two Amigo’s Two defeated WMA Promotions for a much needed four points.  Two Amigo’s Two won 22 – 15 and 25 – 22 in a close game.  Mike Lotz hit a home run for WMA in the loss.

Puck Around and Two Amigo’s split their games with Puck Around winning game one 16 – 11 and Two Amigo’s winning the second game 26 – 18.  Craig Chalmers hit a grand slam to spark the Two Amigo’s squad in the second game; other home run hitters included Steve David and Dan Bullock.
