July 4 – More Home Runs!

 It was another night of long balls in Bluewater Major Two Pitch league action Wednesday night.  Three different Lehder Environmental players hit grand slams in their games against SIS/Brady’s Bunch.  Les Thompson of SIS had a big night hitting five home runs in the SIS wins 22 – 17 and 23 – 12.  Jeff Nelson and Dale Wagner chipped in with eight hits each leading to the SIS wins.  Pat Major, Doug Booth and Kevin Battle all hit grand slams; while John Lester and Gary Garvin each hit home runs for Lehder.

 Two Amigo’s and WMA Promotions split their games, Two Amigo’s winning the first game 24 – 9 and WMA winning the second game 24 – 21.  Two Amigo’s highlights include Kris Reid with three home runs and Craig Chalmers hitting two home runs and driving in six runs.

 Puck Around defeated Two Amigo’s Two 18 – 3 and 15 – 7.  Brian Treulieb was three for three while Brad Huggett had a pair of triples for Two Amigo’s Two.
