June 14 – Two Amigo’s Scores 47 Runs

On and enjoyable evening for baseball, Two Amigo’s dominated Lehder scoring 47 runs on their way to a pair of victories, 27 – 10 and 20 – 3, in the Bluewater Major Two Pitch League action.  Leading the way for Two Amigo’s was Dan Bullock with four home runs; while Doug Amlin, Brent Smith and Bob Loxton all hit home runs.  Lehder’s offense came from Chris Luke, four for four in game one and Pat Major hit home runs in both games.

SIS Brady also picked up four points by defeating Two Amigo’s Two (Banditos) 24 – 9 and 19 – 10.  Jamie Kaldeway and Sean Doherty led the SIS attack with eight hits each; while Les Thompson smashed three home runs.  Two Amigo’s Two highlights were Randy, Dan and Brad Huggett all going four for four.

The Stoke’s Inland Green Devils defeated WMA Promotion 22 – 7 and 24 – 15.  Green Devil contributors included Dave Rand with an inside the park home run and eight hits, Tom Coyle and Bruce Moulton hit home runs and Rich Verwegen and Mark Monteiro each collected eight hits on the night.

League action continues next Wednesday at the Clearwater diamonds beginning at 6:30pm
