June 20 – Bluewater Two Pitch Results

Another great June summer night for Bluewater Major Two Pitch league action last Wednesday night.

In the early games, SIS/Brady defeated WMA Promotions 21 – 6 and 23 – 14.  Steve Armstrong was perfect at the plate collecting eight hits including two triples and home run; while Joe Clarke was solid on defense for SIS.

The Stokes Inland Green Devils picked up two wins defeating Two Amigo’s Two 34 – 23 and 15 – 1.  Game one was a marathon to say the least, lasting over one and half hours.  Green Devil highlights included Tom Coyle, three home runs, Jay Armstrong inside the park home run, Bruce Moulton home run and Mark Monteiro collecting nine hits on the night.  Randy Pullen hit two monster home runs in game one for Two Amigo’s Two.

Puck Around and Lehder Environmental split their games with Lehder winning the first game 14 – 11, with Puck Around winning the second game 18 – 10.  Lehder was led on offense by Lee Bazeley; seven for seven and both Pat Major and Mike Vassey hitting home runs and collecting two runs batted in; while Doug Booth had three runs batted in.  Puck Around contributors included Paul Mullins, Rick Caudle, Rob Thomas and Wayne Howie all hitting home runs.

Action continues next Wednesday night at the Clearwater Diamonds.
