Bantam Braves record their first loss of the season May 22, 2008
The
Sarnia Bantam Braves lost to Dorchester 9-4 on
Thursday night in Dorchester.
Pitching staff for
Sarnia struggled on the mound allowing 15 walks and
only 2 hits, while the defence committed 5 errors,
and the offence came up short with only 6 hits in 6
innings.
On the mound for Sarnia,
Curtis Robichaud in for 3 innings gave up 0 hits,
fanned 8, walked 7, had 1 HB allowed 2 runs with one
being unearned. Josh Taylor came in for 2 innings,
allowed 0 hits, walked 3, struck out 3 and gave up 1
unearned run, Jake Marks in for the close allowed 2
hits, 5 walks, 6 runs with only 3 earned. At the
plate Austin Lanteigne went 2-3 and Josh McCaig 0-1
with 2 walks and scored twice. The Braves are back
at home on Monday May 26 at 7:30 PM, Blackwell Park
where they will take on the Strathroy Royals.
