lead early and didn't give it up as
they defeated Southwest London 9 to
4 in London District baseball action
Monday evening at Tecumseh Park.
Richard McIntosh pitched 3 strong
innings giving up only 1 run on 3
hits to record the win. Travis Moore
and Yenel Olivero each piched two
innings of strong relief to preserve
the win. Brave pitchers combined for
11 strikeouts and gave up only 6
hits.
Sarnia
scored one in the first, added 4 in
the second and two in the third in
cruising to the win. Jordan Pavey,
Sam McCormack, Tyler Gillis, Richard
McIntosh, Brock Morgan, Drew Morgan
and Yenel Olivero all had 2 hits
apiece at the plate. Travis Moore
had 3 RBI's and 9 different batters
scored a run each. In all, Sarnia
pounded out 18 hits and stranded 9
runners on base.
