drove out a double and a single to
score 1. Kobe Lundy knocked out 3
singles, Brock Morgan had a triple
and a single to score 1 and Devin
Butler had a sharp double. In all,
the Braves had 12 hits while the
Royals had 10.

Braves bow
out in hunt for OBA Tournament
Sarnia Braves Major Mosquitoes 1
faced Chatham in the second of a
best of 3 series to decide the
Western Counties representative
for 'A' level OBA championships,
down one game to none. They came
up short 10 to 4 bowing out two
straight in the series to
Chatham.
Jordan Pavey took to the mound
for Sarnia and gave up 7 runs on
9 hits in two innings to take
the loss. Kobe Lundy, DJ Lussier
and Travis Moore succeeded him
in relief to limit the damage to
three more runs on 5 additional
hits.

hits apiece for Sarnia. Travis
Moore and Matt Szabo added the
other 2 hits for a total of 10

Sarnia Major Mosquitoes 1 faced
Byron on Saturday morning at
Tecumseh in London District
baseball league play, chaulking
up a 8 to 3 victory. It was only
the second loss for Byron in
their LDBA baseball schedule
this season. For Sarnia, the
victory further secured a fourth
place finish in London league
play.
Kobe
Lundy started on the mound for
the Braves and pitched three
strong innings giving up only
one run on two hits to secure
the win. Richard McIntosh and
Travis Moore pitched well in
relief. Travis in three innings
of work recorded 7 strikeouts
and allowed only 2 hits.
Sarnia started the action on
offence quickly with 4 leadoff
hits in a row and scored 4 runs
in the first. Single runs were
added in the second and fourth
with the final two in the fifth.
Brock Morgan drove the fifth
inning runs in on a double lined
to left field for his second hit
of the game. Jordan Pavey, Sam
McCormack, Travis Moore, Devin
Butler and Matt Szabo also drove
out two hits apiece. The Braves
outhit Byron 16 to 7 in the
game.
