Mosquitoes 1 visited St. Thomas Cardinals
Thursday evening in LDBA baseball action and
lost for the 3rd time in 4 meetings this year 6
to 4. St. Thomas who scored their runs on 7 hits
while leaving only 3 on base whereas Sarnia
scored their 4 runs on 9 hits but left 8 on
base. The Cardinals scored all their runs in the
third inning with 4 runs on 4 hits off starter
Kobe Lundy and 2 runs on 2 hits on reliever
Jordan Pavey. Three Brave errors were costly in
the inning as well. DJ Lussier who allowed no
hits in two innings and Travis Moore who gave up
one hit in one inning, each pitched well in
relief for the Braves . Jenel Olivero had 2
singles for the Braves at the plate. Brock
Morgan, Jordan Pavey, Travis Moore, Kobe Lundy,
Sam McCormack, Richard McIntosh and Kyle Adams
each had a single as well. Runs were driven in
by Travis Moore, Devin Butler and Sam McCormack.
In all, it was an improved performance
defensively for the Braves.
