Major Mosquitoes 1 defeated Ilderton Red Sox
19 to 14 in LDBA baseball action in Ilderton
Tuesday evening. The Braves knocked out 21
hits to 12 for Ilderton but allowed Ilderton
back into the game with 8 runs in the bottom
of the seventh inning with 2 hit batsmen, 2
walks and 2 errors in addition to 5 hits.
Yenel Olivero pitched for the win for the
Braves with Matt Szabo, Kyle Adams, Keyshaun
Jordan, Brock Morgan and Tyler Gillis each
pitching an inning. Keyshaun Jordan had 3
singles and a double at the plate with 3
RBI's and a run scored. Brock Morgan had 2
doubles and a single driving in one and
scoring 3 in the contest. Devin Butler had 2
doubles and 5 RBI's at the plate as well.
Jordan Pavey also had 3 hits scoring 2 runs
and driving in 2 runs. Sarnia had 7 runners
left on base while Ilderton had 8.
