Sarnia Braves defeat E.B.B.A. 8 to 5
Sarnia Braves
Major Mosquitoes 1 faced the Eager Beavers
in London in LDBA baseball action in
Tecumseh Park on Monday evening and came
from behind to defeat the Beavers 8 to 5
before the pleased hometown fans. Kobe Lundy
pitched for three innings and stepped down
with the score tied 1-1. Travis Moore came
in and pitched two innings giving up
two runs in the fourth and two in the fifth.
It was good enough for the win as Sarnia
scored 5 in the fourth and 2 in the fifth to
come back each time. Yenel Olivero came in
to pitch in relief for the final inning and
got the save giving up no runs on one hit.
Keyshaun Jordan drove out a triple and a
single and Yenel Olivero had a triple on
offence while Sam McCormack, Kyle Adams
and DJ Lussier banged out a pair of hits
apiece. The Braves outhit London Eager
Beavers 14 to 8 in the game.
