Braves Lose a Squeaker
Sarnia Braves Major
Mosquitoes 1 lost to Corunna Giants 10 to 9 at
Corunna under beautiful skies on Tuesday
evening. The Giants overcame a one run deficit
with a double, a single and a double in the last
inning off losing pitcher Jordan Pavey for the
walk off win. Sarnia used 6 pitchers in all with
Kobe Lundy getting the start and with Richard
McIntosh, Tyler Gillis, Jordan Walsh and
Keyshaun Jordan also sharing pitching duties.
Sarnia pitchers gave up 10 hits while Brave
batters had 11 hits off of Corunna pitchers.
However Sarnia left 10 runners on base while
Corunna only left 6. Travis Moore scored 2 runs
on 2 hits with a RBI for Sarnia and Devin Butler
added a run on 2 hits with a RBI as well. Seven
other Braves had hits including a double by DJ
Lussier and a triple by Jordan Walsh and there
were 9 walks but Sarnia suffered 7 strikeouts at
the plate.
