Friday night
in LDBA action the Sarnia Braves hosted
Byron Minor. Sarnia took command of the
game with 3 up 3 down in the top of the
first. At bat the Braves went through
the batting order scoring 6 runs off 4
hits and Byron errors. Sarnia scored a
single in the bottom of 3 to lead 6 -
0. Byron scored an unearned run in the
4th and Sarnia answered with another 4
runs in the bottom of the inning. In
the top of the 5th Byron capitalized on
Sarnia errors to score 4 runs bringing
the score to Byron 5, Braves 11. Sarnia
scored a single in the bottom of the 6th
to clinch the game. The final score was
Byron Minor 5, Sarnia Braves 12. #12
Patrick McKay pitched 7 innings with 3
hits and 3 k's. Hitting for the Braves
