The Sarnia Midget Braves opened the season on Friday night with a win against London North Majors.  #25 Ryan Pavey pitched, 1 walk, 6 K's and 2 hits in the first 4.3 innings.  #3 Rory Fell pitched 2.6 innings with 2 walks, 1 hit, and 4 k's.  In the bottom of the first singles by #4 Jeff Drexler, #7 Wade Babula, and #29 Justin McCarthy gave the Braves a 2 - 0 lead.  In the third a triple by #35 Cam Graham scored Babula on base with a walk and #23 Corey Brown's single.  A Fielder's Choice by #16 CJ Donahue brought Graham home and a double by Fell scored Donahue bringing the Braves lead to 6 runs.  A Brave error in the 4th allowed North London to score their only run of the evening.  The Braves scored 2 more in the 5th with a double by Graham and a single by Fell.  The final score was Sarnia 8, North London 1.
