Game 1 went Wednesday evening in London and played on
terrible field conditions due to the rain. The games
were London and District league games. EBBA won game
1 by a score of 7-3. Tyler Whitbread got the start
and went 3 innings giving up 4 runs (none of them
earned) and 2 strikeouts. Shane Remes went the last 3
innings giving up 3 earned runs and 4 strikeouts. Dylan
Whitbread and Jeff Brown had 1 hit each.
Game 2 went Thursday evening in Sarnia and the Braves
came out on top 7-6.
Dylan Whitbread got the start and by minimizing his
pitch count went 4 innings giving up 1 hit no runs and 3
strikeouts. Mitchell Bigras went the last 3 innings
giving up 6 runs (3 earned). Sam Ellanor rocked a 3 run
home run that might still be going if it hadn't hit a
car in the parking lot. Tyler Groulx went 2 for 3.
