It was another rainy cold night at
the ball park and the Chatham Minors were in town for a
Western County League tilt. The game only went 4 innings
but will be considered a complete game for our record.
The Braves routed Chatham 13-2. Tyler Whitbread got the
start and went 2 innings with 4 strikeouts and no runs.
Shane Remes went the last 2 and gave up the 2 runs and
struck out 4. Shane was pitching when the rain was quite
heavy and did a great job considering the conditions. At
the plate the Braves had many base runners as a wild
Chatham pitching staff walked many of the Braves
hitters. Dylan Whitbread and Mitch Bigras had singles
while Tyler Whitbread,Hayden Mclean and Colton Bond all
ripped doubles.
The Braves are in action again on
Thursday against Ingersoll at Tecumseh Park 6p.m.
