The Sarnia Peewee Braves hosted
Ingersoll at Tecumseh Park Thursday night. Sam Ellanor
started on the mound and went a solid 2 innings and
turned the ball over to Mitch Bigras with a 5-2 lead.
Bigras went 2 solid innings as well and left with the
Braves up 10-4. Unfortunately the top of the 5th was a
complete disaster. Ingersoll took advantage of walks,
hits and shoddy defence to score 10 runs sending the
game to the bottom of 5th with the Braves down 4. With
the heart of the order coming up, the Sarnia side was
able to load up the bases and eventually score 5 runs
topped off by a game winning 2 run single by Jeff Brown.
It is now off to St. Thomas for
the weekend tournament
