Braves in tough at Windsor
The Peewee Braves were
in tough against the Windsor Stars on the weekend.
The boys played a double header exhibition series
against a Windsor squad that had already been in
action in an Ohio tournament. First game saw the
Braves carry a lead into the 3rd inning before some
walks, errors and a few timely hits led to a monster
inning for the Stars. The game ended 22-7 for the
Stars. Mitch Bigras had 3 hits including a triple.
In game 2 the boys faired better but lost 5-1 in 5
innings. Mitch Bigras and Dylan Whitbread were on
the mound in this game. We hope to run into this
team later in the season in tournaments when we have
some game action under our belts.
The kids are in action
again Wednesday at Ingersoll.
