Sarnia Peewee Braves were in
action again Thursday night in a London and district
baseball play. Oakridge were in town and jumped out to
an early 3-0 lead. The Braves answered with 1 in the
bottom of the inning but Oakridge pulled away steadily
from there to record an 8-3 victory. Once again Dylan
Whitbread and Mitch Bigras were full marks for there
pitching performance.
Unfortunately a lack of timely
hitting was the issue in this game. Dylan Whitbread and
Hayden Mclean had 2 hits each while Vince Caschera
chipped in with one hit. The boys are now off for a week
before hosting Southwest London Thursday at Tecumseh
Park.
