The Braves give up a pair in exhibition play

The Windsor Stars Minor Bantams "AAA" came to Sarnia for an exhibition doubleheader and came away with a 2 wins, 6-1 and 2-1. The bats for the Braves were pretty much silent for the two games, but defense or lack of it was the difference in the 2 games.  In game one, Dom Bucci and Josh McCaig shared pitching duties, pitching well, and only allowing 4 hits while striking out 5 Windsor batters.  A couple of missplayed fly balls allowed 4 of the Windsor runs to score and was the difference in the game. At the plate, Sarnia managed only 4 hits with Austin Lanteigne hitting a double, and Dom Bucci, Josh McCaig, and Jake Marks connecting for singles. The Braves struck out 7 times.  In game two, scoreless until the 4th inning, Sarnia made a throwing error with the bases loaded to allow Windsor it's only 2 runs. Austin Lanteigne, Jake Marks, and Curtis Robichaud shared pitching duties for the Braves allowing only 1 hit, striking out 8 , and walking 3 hitters.  At the plate, Sarnia managed only 2 hits - singles by Austin Lanteigne and an rbi single by Arron Sisson.
