Sarnia Minor PeeWee Braves travelled to Southwest London for a make-up game Wednesday evening for one rained out on June 11 losing 10 to 6 after drawing within one late in the game. Thursday they travelled to St. Thomas for another LDBA baseball game winning this time 18 to 10 in a slugfest shortened slightly because of darkness.

On the Wednesday game, the Braves bats did not come alive until the fourth and fifth innings scoring one in the fourth and five in the fifth. They fell silent again as Southwest scored 3 more in the sixth to secure the win. Yenel Olivero led off the fifth with a triple, Brayden Thomas added a double with Josh Turner, Jason Verwegen, Ryan Walker, Travis Moore and Devin Butler all singling in that inning as well. DJ Lussier started on the mound and took the loss while Travis Moore closed out in relief.

Against St. Thomas on Thursday, the Braves drove out 17 hits and drew 7 walks scoring three in the first, seven in the second, six in the third and two in the fourth. St. Thomas scored four in the first, three in the second and three in the fourth on ten hits but came up short losing for the first time this season to Sarnia after defeating them twice earlier. Richard started on the mound for the Braves and improved as the game progressed securing the win while Yenel Olivero closed out the game in relief. Brayden Thomas drove in five runs on a long double and a single and scored one run as well. Brock Morgan contributed two runs on three hits. Tyler Gillis, Yenel Olivero and DJ Lussier added a pair of hits each while Josh Turner drove in three runs on a long single to right centre.
