The Sarnia Peewee Braves
competed in the Brantford Red Sox AAA Peewee
Tournament over the weekend and came away one run
short from winning it.
Sarnia played Hamilton in game 1 and came away with
a 10-1 victory, game 2 Sarnia lost a tough battle to
Guelph 1-3, game 3 Sarnia won 19-1 in their final
round robin game over Cambridge.
Sarnia's 2-1 record through round robin was good
enough to gain them a berth into the semi finals. In
the semi finals Sarnia played Woodstock and won 5-2,
in the finals Sarnia played a great game but failed
to bring home the championship losing 1-2 to
Brampton in the bottom of the 7th.
Way to go boys overall you had a great weekend.
Sarnia next game is Tuesday July 21 in London
against Southwest.
