Chatham scored 3 runs in
the bottom of the fourth inning and that was all the
scoring as the Sarnia Braves Major Peewees were shut
out in Western Counties baseball action Wednesday
evening at Kinsmen Park in Chatham.
Richard McIntosh got the
start for the Braves and went two innings giving up
two hits and no runs. Yenel Olivero pitched two
innings in relief and allowed the three runs on 2
hits and a walk. Jordan Pavey finished the game on
the mound allowing no runs on no hits in two innings
of work. The Braves hits included a single by Boady
Santavy, a double by Devin Butler, a single by
Brayden Thomas and a double by Brock Morgan. The
Braves could not put hits together though to drive
any runs across the plate leaving 4 runners
stranded.
