Sarnia Braves Major
PeeWees defeated Ingersoll by the score of 12 to 6
in LDBA baseball action Tuesday before a home crowd
at Tecumseh Park. Jason Verwegen got the call to
start on the mound and allowed no runs on 2 hits
through three innings of pitching to record the win.
Boady Santavy pitched in relief the remainder of the
game allowing the 6 runs in the fifth on 2 hits, 3
walks and 2 errors. The Braves recorded 12 hits in
the game led by Brock Morgan with 3 hits, 3 runs
scored and a RBI. Yenel Olivero and Jordan Pavey had
two hits with a run scored each as well.
