Three Wins for the Braves

Sarnia Braves Major PeeWees
defeated Southwest at London in LDBA baseball action on
Wednesday night (May 19) 10 to 4 for their third win in
a row to start the season. The victory followed a 12 to
5 win over North London in London on Monday and a 25 to
1 mercy in Ingersoll the previous Friday evening.
Yenel Olivero pitched 3
strong innings for the win giving up only one hit and
one run while striking out three. Mat Szabo recorded 7
strikouts in strong relief allowing only one hit also.
Brock Morgan led the way on offense with three hits and
two runs. Yenel helped his own cause with 3 RBI's and
Ryan Walker drove in two runs on a key hit early. The
Braves drove out 9 hits in total while leaving 8 runners
on base.
