Sarnia Braves defeated
handily the Ilderton Red Sox 12 to 3 in LDBA PeWee
Baseball action before a good group of home town fans
Tuesday evening at Tecumseh Park. It was the fifth win
in a row to start the season for the team.
Jordan Pavey pitched 3 innings on the balmy night for
the win contributing a double and two walks on offense.
Boady Santavy closed with 3 innings of strong relief
allowing only 2 hits and recording 4 strikeouts.
Devin Butler drove in 3 runs on two singles and scored
two as well. Mat Szabo also scored two runs on a double
and a single. Again the Braves broke open a closer game
by scoring six runs in the bottom of the fifth. In all
the Braves drove out thirteen hits while giving up only
four hits.
