The Steelers took
on the Chatham #2 team Wednesday night and came away
with a 8 - 8 tie. Sarnia started the game off on the
wrong foot as
Chatham came out and scored 6 runs with their first at
bat. Sarnia replied with 2 runs in the bottom of the
inning.
Alison Lawrence kept
the Steelers in the game by pitching her best game of
the year, throwing all 7 innings and settling her team
down after a tough
start.
Sarnia continued to
chip away at the score throughout the game behind the
strong pitching performance of Alison and tied the game
in the bottom of
the 7th inning.
Sarnia next game is
Monday, July 27, 8:30 pm at Germain #5.
