WYOMING MIDGETS SHUT OUT PETROLIA BUT LOSE TWO

TO SARNIA IN RECENT WESTERN COUNTY BASEBALL ACTION

 Aug. 13^th – Wyoming 8 – Petrolia 0 @ Petrolia 

Rich Boersma pitched 5 innings and Russ Muhlig came in for two to hand Petrolia a shut-out. Jared Vanruitenburg led the offense with a triple and a single.  Individual singles were hit by Cory Steadman, Chris Helps and Rich Boersma.

 Aug. 18^th
 (game 1) – Wyoming 4 – Sarnia 8 @ Sarnia 

Russ Muhlig and Tim Boersma pitched for Wyoming.  Leading the offense was Steve Grey with 2 singles. Jared Vanruitenburg connected for a triple while singles were hit by T.J. Kennedy, Chris Bright, Ben Dupuis and Tim Boersma. 

Aug. 18^th
 (game 2) - Wyoming 2 – Sarnia 11  

Mitch Robb pitched the complete game for Wyoming. Chris Bright connected for a double while singles were hit by Steve Grey, Ben Dupuis and T.J. Kennedy
