Wyoming Midgets go 1 and 2 in
Guelph this past weekend

The Wyoming
Midgets competed well against
some very strong teams this
weekend at a tournament in
Guelph.
Their pool had
them play Stratford, St. Thomas
and Whitby – both Stratford and
St. Thomas are in 1st
place in their respective
leagues.
In their first
game against Stratford, the
Wyoming Midgets came up short by
a score of 4 – 3. In their
second game against St. Thomas,
they also ended up on the losing
end of a 2 – 1 score. The third
game against Whitby was won by
Wyoming by a score of 4 – 1.
Wyoming had their chances in the
first two games, but just could
not manage to execute with
runners in scoring position.

July 20th
– Wyoming

Matt Doyle had
another strong outing on the
mound with Russ Muhlig coming in
in relief.
Offensively for
Wyoming: Cory Steadman hit a
triple.Craig Steadman and Chris
Bright each hit a double. Matt
Doyle recorded a single.
Base on balls
were issued to: Rich Boersma,
Mitch Robb, Cory Steadman and
Craig Steadman

scattering 4 hits.
Nick Baljeu led
the offense with a double and a
single. Chris Bright and T.J.
Kennedy each hit a single.
Chris Bright
reached base on a walk and Nick
Baljeu scored Wyoming’s only
run.
July 21st
