one loss and three wins at
The Mike Childs Memorial
Baseball Tournament in
Wallaceburg this past
weekend.
The following is a summary
of each of the four games:
Game

– June 30th @
Port Lambton
Wyoming 1 – Guelph Royals

Craig Steadman pitched a complete game no-hitter, striking out 10
batters. Unfortunately, the
only 2 errors made by
Wyoming resulted in 2
unearned runs.
Guelph’s
pitching was also excellent,
only allowing Wyoming one
run.
Singles were hit by: Nick Baljeu, Matt Doyle, Craig Steadman and
Russ Muhlig
Game 2 – June 30th @ Port Lambton
Wyoming

– Southwest London –

Nick Baljeu pitched Wyoming’s 2nd no-hitter of the day,
striking out 9 batters.
This time Wyoming was flawless in the field, committing no errors.
Mitch Robb and Rich Boersma each hit a double.
Matt Doyle, Nick Baljeu and Russ Muhlig each hit a single.
Game 3 – July 1st @ Port Lambton

Matt Doyle took the mound for this Canada Day game and went the
distance, allowing only 3
hits while striking out 5.
Doyle also had a no-hitter
going into the 6th
inning.
Nick Baljeu recorded 3 singles. Craig Steadman and T.J. Kennedy hit
2 singles each.
Chris Bright connected for a triple. Steve Grey and Matt Doyle each
hit a single.
Game 4 – July 1st @ Wallaceburg

Mitch Robb, Rich Boersma and Russ Muhlig shared pitching duties for
Wyoming.
Chris Bright recorded 3 singles. Mitch Robb connected for a single
and a triple.
Russ Muhlig hit a single and a double. Nick Baljeu, Rich Boersma,
T.J. Kennedy and Craig
Steadman each hit singles.
