The Wyoming
Midget and Mosquito baseball teams, who won their respective Ontario
Baseball Association provincial championships, were invited recently to
take part in a parade on the field at the Rogers Centre prior to the
Toronto Blue Jays taking on the Tampa Bay Rays. They joined other teams
from Ontario who were also OBA champions for the Rogers Centre
'Day of Champions'.

Team members and coaches were each given a free ticket to the game and a
Joe Carter limited edition figurine. They also shook hands with Blue
Jays starting pitchers A.J. Burnett and Jesse Litsch. After that, they
sat back and enjoyed watching the Jays sweep the first place Rays with a
1 - 0 win.

It was a
great way to cap off very successful seasons for both of these teams.
Thanks goes to the coaches, players and families for all their support
throughout the season.
Also,
thanks to all those involved in Wyoming Minor Baseball.
