WYOMING MIDGETS COME AWAY WITH TWO TIES IN RECENT

WESTERN COUNTY AND LONDON LEAGUE BASEBALL ACTION

 After losing two one-run games, the Wyoming Midgets managed to tie Petrolia in

Western County Baseball action and St. Thomas in London League Baseball action.

July 8th

Wyoming jumped to an early 6 - 0 lead but only managed to come away with a tie.

 Pitching for Wyoming was Ben Dupuis, Adam Casier and Russ Muhlig.

Cory Steadman continued his hot hitting going 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles.

Also recording singles were Scott Fowler, Muhlig and Dupuis.

Runs were scored by:  Steadman, Fowler, Mitch Robb,

Muhlig, Dupuis and Steve Gray (2).

July 10th

Wyoming 1 - St. Thomas 1

@ Canton Park in Wyoming

This game was a fantastic display of pitching and defence for both teams.

 Mitch Robb pitched a complete game, striking out 7 while scattering 6 hits.

 Wyoming managed to record 5 hits with singles off the bats of Jared Vanruitenburg, Chris Bright,
Trevor McCormick, Scott Fowler and Adam Casier.

 Wyoming's only run was scored by Ben Dupuis after he walked in the 5th.

St. Thomas scored their only run in the 1st inning.
