Game 5:
Huron Lakers 35 vs. IEM 44

With 3 wins and only 1 loss, the girls made their way to the Bronze medal game on Sunday.  After two periods of play, the girls were only down by 1 point, the score was 8-7.  The girls had their speed and their fast break in their favor and continued to lead the game in points through to the 7th period, at this point they were up by 3.  With a hard fought last period of play, they just couldn't maintain the pressure on IEM, who in turn made the most of their opportunities and ended up with the 9 point win.  Madison Neilson lead the way with 10 points, Melissa Blair added 7 points, both Caroline Hummell and Mackenzie Turner added 6 points a piece and Danielle Graham, Kierstynn Pettit and Paige Tucker rounded out the score contributing 2 each.

The girls had a great start to their season with 3 wins and 2 losses and a very big win against Guelph in Game 4.  Sarnia was well represented at this tournament on all fronts.  A great job to the girls and to the coaches!
