St. Clair Boxing Team came home with 4 gold and 1 silver
Medals at the Ontario Winter Games held in Collingwood
from March 5 - 9. All the local competitors from
the club are in the Novice division (under 10 bouts).
Devon Gibson 52 kg (1994)
in his 4th career bout earned a gold medal by defeating
Steven Angle from the McGrory's Club, Nolan Evans
86 kg (1992) earned gold on a walk over (competitor
could not compete) along with Samantha Coady 46 kg
(1998) and Samantha Lochery (1996). Jessica Ennett
48kg (1993) in her 3rd career bout earned a silver medal
against Rachel Young - McGrorys. |
