Friday Night Boxing Event!
The River City Box Club hosted the main event on
Friday July 26 with a total of 10 bouts.
In the first bout Alexander
Leathers of Irish Hill USA defeated Andrew Sztricsko in
2 rounds.
In bout 2 Brian Terreberry of Blands Fort Erie defeated
Adam Ahmed from the King Street boxing club in London.
The 3rd round saw Jake Morris of Irish Hill take a 3 - 0
decision to defeated local boxer Travis Ulett. In
the 4th matchup the crowd was entertained with an
exhibition bout between Alaina Barthe of Boone's City
Boxing Club from Niagara Falss and Ring London's Natalie
Grguric.
Up next was Todd Charlton from River City who TKO'd Jay
McCarthy from London. In bout 6 Ricky Pacheco from
Blands Fort Erie received a 3 - 0 decision over Emile
Reed from Boxing Loft. In the 7th matchup Joel
McCarthy from Newmarket won with a TKO over Thomas
Tustin from Loyalist - Belleville. In the 8th bout
Erik Evers from Prodigy - USA defeated Ben Gallant from
the Black Eye Club out of Brantford. In the 9th
round Dustin Henry from King Street London defeated
Michael Couture in a 2 - 1 decision. And in the
final round Dave Swash of Hamilton took a 3 - 0 decision
over Steward McQueen from Boomerz - London.

Frank White who recently won the Cruiser
Weight Championship of Canada in Edmonton,
Alberta. |
