This year marked the 60th Anniversary of the annual BDO Dunwoody Ladies Bonspiel that was held at the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club. 

It was a spectacular finish in the final game of the main event as a stunning shot made by Wendy Young of the Tillsonburg Curling Club sealed the victory over Sarnia's Jean Corey team.

There were a total of eight events in the bonspiel with Sarnia rinks Philpott and Reatherford claiming victory in two, Almer, Ingersoll, Ilderton, Fores and Wiarton each winning their respective event.

Some 23 out of town rinks are scheduled to participate, in  addition to 9 member rinks.  Area teams are representing London, Ilderton, Windsor, Wiarton, Forest, Wallaceburg, Ingersoll, Elmvale, Aylmer, Chatham, St. Thomas and Tillsonburg.
