November 08, 2009
Bluewater Power Titans - 45 vs.
The Falcons - 7
Under sunny blue skies the Bluewater
Power Titans defeated the Falcons by a
score of 45-7 in week 7 of the Sarnia
Flag Football Association regular
season. When a first series pass by
Titan QB was picked off resulting in a
Falcon Touchdown, it looked like
lightning would strike and an upset was
in store for the Titans. However with
solid defense, the Titans kept the
Falcons off the board for the rest while
Peter Faasse connected with 7 touchdown
passes to his recievers in the rout.
Scoring for the Titans were 5 from Bryan
Weaver and singles from offensive
linemen Adam Lagacy and Joe Parr.
Scoring the only major for the Falcons
was James Sandy. Of note, the 5
touchdowns scored by Titan Bryan Weaver
broke the 2008 league record for most
TD's in a single game previously set at
4 by Joe Mason of The Boyz.
Lambton Metal Service Rampage -
41 vs. The Razorbacks - 19
In
a game the was very close for 3 quarters
and the Razorbacks looking like they
would upset the Rampage, the Rampage
pulled ahead in the 4th en-route to a
41-19 victory. While Rampage QB Devon
Johnson and Razorback QB Mark Faasse
both worked the field well spreading the
receptions across the reciever cores
evenly, they both also were plagued by
interceptions as the Rampage picked off
Faasse 7 times while The Razorbacks
picked off Johnson 6 times.
Scoring for the Rampage in the winning
effort were 2 from Sean Devereaux and
singles from Devon Johnson, Cory
Johnson, Kevin Cook and Todd Pepper.
For the Razorbacks, majors were scored
by singles from Phil Veale, Jeff Worsley
and Andy MacDonald.
Next
weeks games will showcase a rubber
match, critical game between the
Bluewater Power Titans and the Lambton
Metal Service Rampage at 11:00 while the
Falcons will take on the Razorbacks at
1:00. All game in the Sarnia Flag
Football Association games are played at
