Bluewater Power Titans - 43 vs.
Lambton Metal Service Rampage - 18
In week 8 of the regular season in the
Sarnia Flag Football Association, the
Bluewater Power Titans defeated the
Lambton Metal Service Rampage by a score
of 43 - 18. In a hard played game that
was tied at half, the short handed
Rampage were finally overwhelmed in the
second half as the Titans scored 25
unanswered points.
Scoring for the Titans were 3 from
Russel Pettipiece and singles from Jim
Grasse, Bryan Weaver, Joe Parr and Sean
Georgio. Scoring for the Rampage in the
losing effort were 2 from James
Williamson and a single from Cory
Johnson.
The Razorbacks - 42 vs. The
Falcons - 18
In
the second game of the day, the Falcons
still remain winless as they fell again
to the Razorbacks by a score of 42 -
18. This game featured some incredible
efforts by both squads with Highlight
reel plays on both sides of the ball.
Of special note was the huge defensive
effort by Falcon lineman Aaron Yellowman
who accounted for 5 sacks and 6 flags in
the game.
Scoring for the Razorbacks in the win
were 3 from Phil Veale, and singles from
Jason Bayne, Andrew Veale and QB Mark
Faasse. For the Falcons TD's were
scored by 2 from James Sandy and a
single from Joe Mason.
In
the last regular season game before
play-offs, the Bluewater Power Titans
will take on the Razorbacks at 11:00
while the Lambton Metal Service Rampage
play the Falcons at 1:00. All games in
the SFFA are played at Lansdowne Park in
Sarnia.
