Matt Hill of Sarnia a sophomore at North Carolina State University claims another victory for the fourth time this season. Hill led from start to finish, and claimed individual medalist honors at the 2009 River Landing Intercollegiate hosted by NC State this weekend.

Taking the win by four strokes, he finished the three rounds at 10-under (206) and claimed his fourth title in the school year.

With the slight lead entering the third round, Hill went four-under (68) with an eagle on the par-five fifth hole and adding three birdies on the day to tie for the best round of the day.

This is Hill's fifth career victory out of the 20 NC State tournaments with four of them this season.  His first victory came at last year’s Hootie at Bulls Bay, and Hill also claimed top honors at the Hawks Invitational this past fall and in back-to-back tournaments in March, first at the General Hackler Tournament then the Schenkel E-Z-Go.

With this win Hill has set a school record as the only golfer in NC State history to win four tournaments in one school year and he also is now tied with current PGA Tour member Tim Clark for most wins at NC State.

NC State will compete at the ACC Championships, being held April 17-19 at the Old North State Club in Badin Lake, N.C.
