BACK TO BACK FOR HILL

Matt Hill of Sarnia continued his winning ways on the NCAA division 1 golf circuit with another tournament victory.  Hill turned on the magic down the stretch of the final three holes in the Schenkel E-Z-Go Invitational in Statesboro, Georgia to win again by three strokes.  Hill registered birdies on two of the final three holes to give the North Carolina State sophmore his second tournament win in as many weekends.  Only current PGA golfer Tim Clark has won more tournaments in school history.  Clark won five.  Hill has won four in only two school years and three this school year alone.

Hill claimed four career victories in his first 18 tournaments of his NC State career. His first victory came at last year’s Hootie at Bulls Bay, and Hill also claimed top honors at the Hawks Invitational this past fall and at the General Hackler Tournament earlier in March.
