John McIntyre


 

Hockey

John played in the Onario Major Junior Hockey League with Guelph Platers from 1985 to 1989.  In 1986 the Guelph Platers won the Memorial Cup and the following year John was named the OHL Scholastic Player of the Year.  In 1987 John was a member of the Canadian National Under 18 Team and in 1989 was a member of the Canadian National Junior Team.

During the 1989-90 season he was elevated to the Toronto Maple Leafs and played until the 1990-01 season when he was traded to the Los Angeles Kings.  John played with Los Angeles Kings until he was traded to the New York Rangers during the 1992-93 season.

In the 1993-94 NHL season John was traded tothe Vancouver Canucks and he finished his professional career with the 
Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League.  

John's professional hockey career spanned 8 years in the National Hockey League and 3
 years in the American Hockey League.
