Born:  Sarnia, Ontario


 

Softball/Figure Skating

Sarnia Figure Skating Club 1960 - 1989
Volunteer serving in many positions from Ice Captain to 1st female President.  Rose was a founding member of WOSWIC Competition Committee for the Section Competition and Asst. Chairperson for the Division Competition.

Sarnia Minor Athletic Association
Served as the Secretary for Girls Fastball for 15 years and was also the Team Convenor.


Provincial Women's Softball Association (17 yrs.)
Served as Minor Co-ordinator and was also 1st Vice-President and Play-off Chairperson.  Rose was the President for 1989, 1990 and 1991 as well as Past President in 1992, 1993 and 1994.

Softball Ontario (15 yrs)
During the 15 yrs. served on the Board of Directors, the Structure Committee and also served as the Chairperson fo the Technical Services Committee.  Rose in 1992, 1994 and 1995 was Chairperson.

Ontario Amateur Softball Association
In 1987 Rose was the Assistant Chairperson for the Senior Men's and in 1980 was the Co-Chair of the Senior Men's Nationals.

Slo-Pitch
Co-Chairperson of the Co-Ed and Masters Nationals in 1992.

Sarnia Belles Senior Ladies Fastball Club
Served as Committee Member since the Club became Incorporated and has also served as Chairperson and Past Chairperson.

Sarnia Lambton Hall of Fame
Rose has been a member since 1983 and served as President for 4 terms, Secretary and Induction Dinner Chairperson.

Softball Canada
Elected as Director in 1987 and still serving as well as acting as the Liaison to the 2004 Ladies National Team.  Attended the Olympics in Greece with Ladies Olympic Team.
