Angelo coaching began in 1966 coaching a house league Peewee softball team and continued coaching to 1970.

In 1967-68 as Coach of a Bantam House League Hockey Team through to 1988

As a player his he was a member of the Northern Vikings City Championship soccer team in 1963-64 & 1964-65 season.

He was a memer of the Dante Soccer Club as player/coach and won District Championships, John Carelton Soccer Trophy, C.N.R. Trophy and in 1972 as a player won the Premier Championships in the Western Ontario Soccer League.

In 1969 he began coaching as a player/coach in the Sarnia & District Men’s Soccer league and has been involved coaching soccer since that time.  He has coached for the West Region for the Ontario Summer Games in 1977.

He has coached Youth teams in the Sarnia Boys Soccer Association and Bluewater Boys Soccer Association as well as Men’s premier teams and Lambton College Men’s soccer team from 1994-2003.
