Hall of Fame Trivia Winners!

Members of the Sarnia Lambton Sports Hall of Fame recently delivery pizza to
Mrs. Gosselin's grade 5/6 class at St. Margaret's school who were the Hall of Fame Trivia Winners!

The Sarnia Lambton Hall of Fame held a trivia contest during the Active 2010 Sports Expo that was
held in April at the Clearwater Arena.  The students who attended the Sports Expo during the day
were invited to participate in a Trivia contest to win a pizza party for their class.

In order to be eligible to win the students had to answer 10 questions.  The answers were found from
the inductee information located on the walls at the Hall of Fame.
A sample of one of the questions asked:
 "
Did you know that Ormand Beach had a Scout Group named after him?
In 1983 he was inducted for what sport?" (the answer can be found below)

St. Margaret’s student Amy Van Kerkhoven of Mrs. Gosselins grade 5/6 class answer sheet was drawn
to win her class the pizza party that was generously donated
on behalf of the Sports Hall of Fame
by Ranson Industrial and Safety Supplies.

Bob Gladwish of Ranson was also on hand and brought some interesting trivia to the class as well.

Bob also spoke to the class on the importance of being active and playing competitive sports.
