Sarnia Mayor Mike Bradley announced at the 25th Anniversary of the Sarnia Lambton Sports Hall of Fame that Sarnia City Council has re-named Baseball Diamond #2 at the Germain Park Sports Field as the "Rose Hodgson Memorial Diamond."

Mrs. Hodgson, who passed away earlier this year, performed many volunteer roles in the community including serving as Chairperson of the Canada Day Committee.  She was heavily involved with Softball Canada.

The Naming of a baseball diamond in her honour is a tribute to her dedicated national work.
