The Jr. Sting traveled to London to play the final game of the regular season against the division leading Jr. Knights Gold.

Lambton came out of gates slowly and got behind 2-0 before finding their legs. Ryan Brown scored on a nice deflection off of a Max Steeves shot to get the Major Atoms on the scoreboard. The period ended 2-1 for London.

The Jr. Sting carried the play in the second period and had numerous chances to tie it up including a 5 on 3 power play but couldn’t find the twine and period two ended the way it started; 2-1 Jr. Knights.

London scored twice in the middle of the third to take a 4-1 lead. The Jr. Sting battled and Max Steeves jammed one in from close range to make it 4-2. Lambton could not get any more and the game ended with the Jr. Knights winning 4-2. 

Max Steeves and Ryan Brown had one goal and one assist each.

The Jr. Sting finished the season with a 10 – 15 – 5 record.
