Lambton vs London Jr. Knights
The Major Atoms were at home on Saturday morning hosting the London Jr. Knights Green squad.

The Jr. Sting scored first with Ryan Brown lighting the lamp with Ryan Gould assisting. Lambton continued to control the play but were unable to add on to the lead and London tied it up early in the 2^nd period. Jameson Hart scored with 0.5 seconds to go in the 2^nd on the Power Play to give the home team a much needed lift going into the 3^rd. Jack Hackett upped the lead to 2 on a nice “one-timer” from Ryan Brown. Brown finished the scoring with his second of the morning to complete a 4-1 victory for the  Jr. Sting. Patrick Kelly played a solid game in net.

Lambton vs Hamilton Reps
The Major Atoms were at home for a second time on the weekend on Sunday with the Hamilton Reps in town.

Hamilton has an excellent team and would get on the board mid-way through the 1^st on the Power Play. The Reps scored again late in the 1^st to make it 2-0. The Jr. Sting looked like they were coming to life when Ben Schoch scored late in the 1st period on the Power Play. However, Hamilton responded with 2 quick goals in the 2^nd period. Lambton tried to mount a comeback but just could not find their scoring touch and Hamilton scored again mid-way through period 3 to make it 5-1 final.
