Lambton Jr Sting – Major Peewees Win Two at Home

Thursday, September 24^th
The Lambton Jr Sting – Major Peewee team, coached by Dave McCormick, had its first win at home on  against the London Jr Knight Green team. Final score was 3 – 2. Scoring for Lambton were: Brett Corrigan assisted by Jake Mott and Brock Perry; Sam McCormack assisted by Zach VanEyk on a power play; and, Brett Corrigan assisted by Jake Mott. Lambton will face London Green again in January.

Saturday, September 26^th
The Major Peewees lost on the road to the Chatham-Kent Cyclones. The final score was 5 –1 with Dillon Saunders scoring the lone goal, assisted by Zach VanEyk and Brett Corrigan.

Sunday, September 27^th
Lambton faced the Cambridge Hawks at home. Lambton was victorious with a score of 2 – 1. Jake Mott scored the first goal and Sam McCormack scored the winner. Zach VanEyk assisted on both goals.

The Major Peewees will play at home on Tuesday, September 29^th against the London Jr Knights Gold team at 7:00 pm at the SSEC.
