| Lambton Shores vs LaSalle
In their second home
game on the weekend (third for the week) the
Predators were back on the ice Saturday night and
came up on the losing side taking a 7 - 2 loss
against the unbeaten LaSalle Vipers (3 - 0).
LaSalle scored two goals in the first period, the
second on the powerplay. D. J. Turner and
Dylan Sequin scored for the Vipers.
In the second period
the Predators came back and scored two goals to tie
things up. The first at 8:35 on the powerplay
by Ben Woodley from Cody Curts and Matt Melo.
Matt Melo scored the second goal with Samir Jomaa
and Cody Curts assisting. With less than a
minute left in the period Troy Cox scored for
LaSalle that would turned out to be the game winner.
In the third LaSalle
scored four unanswered goals by Matt Beaudoin, D.J.
Turner (powerplay), Dylan Solecki and Chad Rivait.
Despite the loss Predators netminder Sean Parker had
an outstanding games as he faced a total of 67
shots.
Connor Lyons took the win with a total of 25 shots
on net.
Lambton Shores went 1
for 4 on powerplay opportunities, LaSalle went 2 for
9.
The Predators look
for their first win of the season when they travel
to Leamington on Thursday and back home on Saturday
for a 7:45 game start.
