The Lambton Shores Predators opened their season in London and came away with a 7 - 2 loss.

London took a 4 - 2 lead in the first period.  Kalvin Thorton from Ben Woodley and Wayd Pitfied scored the first Predator goal and Samir Jomaa from Kalvin Thorton and Wayd Pitfield scored the second.

London went on and scored 1 in the second and 2 in the third.

Lambton Shores went 1 for 5 in powerplay conversions, London went 2 for 10.  Total shots on net for Lambton Shores was 13 for London 45.

Lambton Shores will host the Chatham Maroons for their home opener on Friday September 11 at The Shores Recreation Centre in Forest.  Puck drop is set for 8:00 pm.
